A006840 comes awfully close

2n charges in a ring configuration in the plane,
n positive (+1) and n negative (-1) ones, equally spaced.
count the number of potential energy levels.
configurations :
{1, 2, 3, 7, 13, 35, 85, 254, 701, ...}

this comes awfully close to A006840 

someone with more math insight & accessible sources
should check this out. In my opinion, his in not yet ripe for EIS,
at least not without confirmation.

If this is true, it beats the hell out of similarities
like Bell & Catalan numbers differing from only the 
fifth place. These have 7 terms equal!
