Dear Seq Fans,
NEW FEATURE:
When you use the standard lookup page,
www.research.att.com/~njas/sequences/,
the matching sequences will now be listed
with the "best" ones first.
More precisely, first it finds the first 10, 30 or 100
matches in the lexicographic order.
Then it arranges them in order, beginning with the "core"
and "nice" sequences and ending with the "dumb" and "dead" ones.
(If you only asked for 10 matches and the "core" sequence
would have been the 11th, it still won't find it.)
To make this work better, many more sequences should
be given the "nice" keyword. Suggestions will be welcomed.
I hope the new feature works - please let me know right away
if you see anything wrong.
Neil Sloane
PS If there is enough demand, I could also add this feature
to the email server, sequences at research.att.com
