Yes, I used to carry a photocopy of the first twenty pages or so around with me
everywhere I went for many years.  Apparently the fifth edition of H&W was not
evenly revised.  I am guessing then that it was Eddington's number for protons?
Of course, there has been a lot of inflation since then ...
