Sequences to analyze

David, now that you have revealed where those sequences came from,
i've taken the liberty of adding them to the database - see 
A060897-A060900.  Easier to refer to those numbers than A000001-4.

I don't completely agree with your comments about the database.
The purpose of the %N line is give a simple definition of
the sequence.  In the case of the Fibonacci numbers,
there are lots of people who don't know the name of
these numbers but who will recognize the recurrence.

On the other hand it is true that many entries could be reworked.
But this is a never-ending process and i am swamped by the
flow of new sequences, extensions, comments etc., which often reach
80 to 100 a day.

By the way, it seems unnecessary to post this discussion to
both math fun and seq fan.  Math funners who are interested in
sequences could perhaps subscribe to the seq fan list.  Simply
write to ogerard at ext.jussieu.fr and ask to be put on the list.
(For a while the list was frozen, but things are working better now.)
