P.S. Jack Kenyon, in his 1967 MSc thesis, recalculated (on an IBM 1620, later an IBM 360, using programs written by Norm Barnecut, Merv Matson and Bill Pulleyblank) all earlier known nim-series, and added many new ones. The analyses of .07 and of .17 are given there, correctly. There is no mention of a connexion between the two games. R.
