There seems to be an extension to this idea:

2,12,1112,3112,211213,312213,212223,114213,31121314

Here we describe a number by a pure digit count, so in 3112, wh have 2 1's,
1 2 and 1 3, hence 211213.

If a digit is omitted, then we do not write 01, but instead write nothing.

Obviously I would do this myself, but the number of varieties is large.
