my own interest in this subject had to do with the question:

| how much of the ordering of the integers is
| determined on "purely combinatorial" grounds?

i remember that this i what led me to looking at various sorts
of combinatorical structures that one can derive from integers,
e.g., "riffs" and "rotes", by a kind of reverse goedelization.

it also linked up with jackson's way of doing enumeration ...
connected graphs as prime graphs, only here we have that
almost all graphs are prime -- is that right? fade out ...
