Don't know if the answer is good, but that's what I do:

If the sequence I want to include as link in an e-mail
or web page has a X-ref to another sequence,
then I click on any of the X-refs, which brings
an adress line of the required form into the browser's
address field. If you are lucky, then the X-refed
sequence has a link back to your original one.
Clicking on that link brings up the required form.
Otherwise you can simply overwrite the tail of
the address field of your web browser with the
required number. The same method also "works"
if the sequence has an index entry.
Another way to get the seq-number-tailed
adress line is to include (maybe your favorite)
sequence into your bookmarks or favorites.
You can then click on this dummy and replace the
number with the number of your choice.
