I propose changing the line:
[It will take a few minutes to search the table (the second and later lookups 
are faster)]
to something like...
[The time needed to lookup this sequence increases with the total number 
of hits (the second and later lookups are faster)]
or (less direct)
[It may take a few minutes to search the table depending on the total number 
of hits (the second and later lookups are faster)] 

Begining with "it will take" may discourage first time users (who undoubtable will 
not have already read the tips + help file).
