OEIS in WiKi, is it a good idea?

I think we should leave Neil and his assistants in control over
the content of the OEIS.

However, the originator of this thread identified an issue which
I think is a real issue: submitting a minor comment on a sequence
is a pain. (Unless I missed something,) one has to insert a whole
lot of old stuff by copying it from the original, which is probably
in a different browser window. Moreover, the association between
the comment and the sequence is up to the user to get right.
This frequently puts me into "I'll do it when I have more time"
mode when I have something to contribute.

To solve this, I suggest that one of the buttons visible on
displaying a sequence is called "Comment on this sequence". Clicking
that button brings up a form similar to the present form but
initialised to the details of the present sequence. Then we can
make our suggested changes, explain them in the comments field
(or in a separate message box) and submit them for Neil's scrutiny.

Brendan.
