Why sequences of marginal interest are bad

That is a brilliant paper, and part of what got me involved with OEIS.

Does the computational difficulty of extending the automated search for
correlations between sequences go as the square of the number of sequences?

If so, that would quantify the frustration that Ralf experiences.
