So, while the OEIS is on the vacation, then, instead of concocting new 
contrived
sequences, why don't read Knuth's "History of combinatorial generation"
http://www-cs-staff.stanford.edu/~knuth/fasc4b.ps.gz
as it is so fascinating to read.

Of course there's a danger for a sudden inspiration of new,
even elegant sequences, but maybe they can wait until January?
