what kinds of sequences belong in the OEIS?

Dear SeqFans,   There has been a lot of discussion recently
about what sequences should be added to the OEIS.

Let me state my position: I will add a sequence if
any of the following hold:

- it has been published somewhere, or if it is related to a published one
or
- it has been given on a quiz
or
- it has arisen in your work (or play)
or
- you think it is important 
or
- if there is some other good reason!
