tabf keyword

[franktaw at netscape.net]

What's with the tabf keyword, anyhow?  I had thought it was designated 
as obsolete, but the instructions page doesn't indicate this.  And many 
people are still using it.  On the other hand, it isn't available on 
the submit page.
