files giving extended versions of sequences

And what should be done if the sequence is defined as the set of numbers
satisfying some condition, and we don't know if the condition holds for
a particular number?  E.g. we might know that 1, 2, 3, and 5 are in the set,
but not know if 4 is.  So we don't know whether 5 is the 4-th or 5-th term.
