what kind of sequences should be in the OEIS?

I see that this debate has started up again.
My view is:
- the fraction of non-math seqs in the OEIS is very small
- the purpose of the OEIS is to IDENTIFY sequences that
you have come across, in your work or even on a quiz
So it is important to be encyclopedic
- it is very hard to distinguish the math sequences
from the merely playful ones (e.g. A005150)
- religious quarrels cause much of the trouble in the world,
let's not let that happen here!
