SeqFans,

the new round of "Al Zimmermann's programming contests" has begun today.
The task is to find certain minima or maxima composed from the products
of the matrix elements in rows, columns and generalized diagonals of nXn
square matrices with integer elements that are permutations of
1,2,...,n^2.

The contest home page with links to a description of the problems can be

Some members of this group have already started to compete, others might
be interested. After the end of the contest the results might produce at
least 3 nice new sequences.
