why NOT contacting author, before doing this drastic mesure?

This is my first note to the `seqfan` .

Every time I read your emails,
I always have only one question;
*what actually do you trying/want to do?*
Seems to me, that every one has something to say,
sure,
every one has and entitle to have opinion,
but...
what actually common goals, styles, objectives and criterias?!

Do you have common goals?..
...or you just THINK, you do?

I do Not mean like `*make better place*`,
(by the way, that's will be nice too)
but little bit more specific and technical, and to the point.
it have to be some kind of range and boundaries.

Q1: Quality or Quantity?
Q2: Math or cute staff?
Q3: Authoritarianism or community?
Q4: Helpful or Narcissistic and Snobby?
Q5: Questionable directions or well-defined?
Q6: Definitely or Maybe?

Maybe it's just me, but feels ...
well... not very promising.
