[seqfan] Question about A065027

Hello list, 

in the discrete math class I teach this semester the question of when is
m^n < m! for the first time came up.  Now I see that this corresponds to
the sequence A065027.  Doing some experimentation it appears that the
first differences of this sequence are always 2 or 3 and there is a
comment to that effect in the encyclopedia, however references are not
provided.

Anybody knows of any references for this?  Or is it considered obvious?
