In the unedited sequence A161984, does someone understand what the author means?

Apparently, what he calls "cube of" a nonnegative integer n is an
ordered set of n integers in arithmetic progression with common
difference 2, centered at n^2 (and indeed the sum of the elements of
this set is n^3). Then the sequence concatenates {n} and (cube of n).
Maybe I'm missing a point and another presentation of the data would
be more enlightening.  If not, the sequence could be awarded the
keyword less.
