This does not work as proposed because the list is created by a program
which reads only the contents of the stripped.gz file with the bare sequence numbers;
information hidden in comments is not parsed. Because I am not
maintaining an active list of sequence pairs which look the same but are known
to be different, this type of entries with false alarms will remain in the list
for the foreseeable future.
