Personnaly, I don't mind at all -- dumbness could be lived
as a reward by some people (me):

This finite sequence is obtained by replacing the letters
you are reading now by their rank in the alphabet.
20,8,9,19,6,9,14,9,20,5,19,5,17,21,5,14,3,5,9,19,15,2,20,

18,19,25,15,21,1,18,5,18,5,1,4,9,14,7,14,15,23,2,25,20,8,

Objet : [seqfan] The keyword "dumb"

Dear SeqFans,

I would like to know your opinion about suppressing the keyword "dumb"
(and replacing it by "less" where it appears), based on the following:
* It concerns only 72 sequences out of more than 160000.
* Does it mean something else than "less than less" (with the meaning
of the "less" keyword)?
* I'm not a native speaker (but many OEIS users aren't either), but to
me, this term is more than colloquial, and although this adjective is
meant to refer to the sequence, its submitter could feel insulted by
it.
* Keywords should exist only if there are good reasons for it -- I'm
not saying there are none, just that I do not see any.

Sincerely,
Benoit
