Silly me!  Muddled thinking on my part!  However, given your reasoning, why
aren't the primes 2 and 3 for n = 1?

The sequence is A055382.  The 2 primes are 3 and 5, making just 1 gap.
Seems fine to me.  I suggest changing the name to say "2n consecutive
primes".
