If I understand it correctly, after a(24) = 8, a(25) should be 10 not 6?

If so, starting from a(47) = 5 the following pattern repeats ad. inf. 5 4 3 2 10 9 8 7 6

a(n) non-repeated digits (the "window" is under the stroke "|"):
