[seqfan] A000657 Median Euler numbers

Hi,

I have been trying to reproduce A000657 using the supplied formulas
and maple code.  The formula and maple code agree with each other,
but give a different result to the listed sequence for a(9) onwards.

Assuming, the generating function is correct, then I get:

If these are correct, then A000657 appears to be simply an unsigned
version of A099023.

Does anyone understand A000657 well enough to comment?
