Hans, I see that his name appears - as you said - in many forms.

He is not to be confused with W. T. ("Tom") Trotter.

It looks like the dominating form
of his name in the OEIS is Terrel Trotter, Jr.

We should probably go through the OEIS and change all the
other versions of his name to
Terrel Trotter, Jr.

I will make a user page for him (User:Terrel_Trotter,_Jr.)
that points to the obit that you found.
