[seqfan] OEIS and research

Dear SeqFans,

For two years I have been working as a math coordinator for RSI at MIT. That is, I was supervising summer math research done at MIT by high school students. Many of the kids didn't know about the OEIS when they started, but found it useful during their research. 

Now I am starting another job at PRIMES at MIT:
http://web.mit.edu/primes/. This is a similar program that helps high school students to do research during the school year.

Projects related to the OEIS are perfect for students. They do not require a lot of advanced knowledge, plus they are often the right level of difficulty. It would be a shame if we can't accept some projects because the OEIS download is not available any more.
