Answering my question in

we see that the period lengths of the expansions of 1+1/k in base
phi are given by A001175(k). For k=5 this is 20, as observed.
I've submitted a comment to A173859 on that issue.
Also note that the offset of 1 in the sequences A173856 to A1738561 and A173864
is correct, because the offset follows the same convention as the base-10
expansions of constants. 1+1/k = 1.[binary-periodic-sequence-of-digits]
in base phi has one (=offset) digit before the period.
