Several people have written to me to extend the sequences. Thanks.
(I'll have trouble figuring out how to credit them all when I submit the sequences -- unless someone else would like to submit?)

The sequence-a definition can be simplified a bit:

a(1)=2. a(n) = the smallest prime not yet occurring such that either a(n) is a substring in a(n-1), or a(n-1) is a substring in a(n), when both are written in binary.

The base-10 version of sequence-a is, I think:

2, 23, 3, 31, 131, 13, 113, 11, 211,...

This is NOT in the EIS. Someone else should submit this one, though, if someone even considers it worthy of submission.

Thanks,
Leroy Quet
