My mistake -the site is still in "read only" mode. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll write about some other things when this is all worked out.

Thanks,
Matt

Thank you, Russ, and also for your earlier reply to me (I'll see how that works once I know whether it's a good idea to submit again yet).

Here's the thing: I noticed by visiting the site that it's currently out of "read only" mode, yet my new A-numbers are not currently available and neither are two sequences I submitted. Has all restorable data been restored yet?

(The A181xxx numbers are nice ones - that 1 in the 1000s place helps keep all 6 digits from blurring together so much. My current batch is A181792-A181827, if anyone's interested and would be willing to restore them if they went the way of the last ones.)

Thank you,
Matt Vandermast

Thanks for pointing this out. It gives me an idea
about what might be going on.

The software has only had a few days of actual users
pounding on it, so there will be glitches. (It's always
amazing how real users find things that testing does not.)
I've put the server into read only mode while we sort this out.

I fully appreciate the standards that people expect of
the OEIS and the collective effort that goes into curating it.
There are two independent backup mechanisms beyond
the main database, so I am confident that none of the
disappearing changes have actually been lost.

I apologize for the disruption.
Thanks for your patience while we sort this out.

Russ
