There is no bug.

keyword:new is automatically applied to all sequences that have
changed in the last two weeks.  This is the same condition that
was used before the transition to the wiki format.
Last week there was a lot of activity in preparation for the
transtion: 29,000 sequences were edited, mostly to update
links to supporting files, so there are 29,000 sequences with
keyword:new.  You are welcome to spend the next two weeks
examining them all.

You are also welcome to wait until those 29,000 are no longer
considered new, which, since the changes were made mostly
on November 11, will happen some time on November 25.
