The transition from 7^2 to 7^2,2*5*7,2^2*3*7 was flagged by the software
by scanning from the right to the left, not from the left to the right.
You expected that the leading 7^2 would not have been marked as being
replaced, but the scanner took the 7 in 2^2*3*7 and the ^2 in 2^2*3*7
as the "original" 7^2.
So there is no bug, just the standard problem that diff'ing with a software
that has no real artificial intelligence of the underlying syntax (comma
separated products in some comment section) build in does not lead to unique
results.
