[seqfan] graph terminology

Dear seqfans,
I would like a good (best) way to describe the
following 2 families of graphs:
(a) n triangles 

/\/\/\/\  please imagine 4 lower and 4 upper horizontal
edges; here we have 7 triangles

/\/\/  here we have 4 triangles;

(b) n 2p-cycles; adjacent cycles are joined by one 
edge placed at diametrically opposite nodes. 

For p=2 and n=3 we have
