[seqfan] (by way of admin) Current Wikipedia Entry for the OEIS

Mr Orlovsky recently remarked that the english version of Wikipedia has the
following statement

 As of 5 January 2011 it contains over 181,050 sequences, making it the
> largest database of its kind.


And asks if Associate Editors could update this statistics more often.

My own opinion is that as the statement contains the date, it stays valid
and give a correct order of magnitude so there is no need to update it very
often.
