Dear Matevz,

Once the Encyclopedia is trademarked in the US, the OEIS foundation can ask
for an extension
of application to the EU or make a direct demand.

http://oami.europa.eu/ows/rw/pages/CTM/protection/intRegistrations.en.do

allowing this trademark (after acceptation by the OHIM and payment of fees)
to be valid in all EU countries.

There will certainly be other ways to help the foundation in Europe
and seqfan members will be informed of any initiative.
