The best way to deal with this is to go ahead and make a change or two.
In the "CROSSREFS" section, add something like "Subsequence of
A144795." (for A048717), or "A048717 is a subsequence." (for A144795).

A048717 is a subsequence of A144795.

Example:
A144795:
3,6,7,12,14,15,24,27,28,30,31,48,51,54,55,56,59,60,62,63,96,99,...
A048717: 3,6,7,12,14,15,24, 28,30,31,48,51, 56,
60,62,63,96,99,...

A048717:
"In binary expansion, 1-bits occur only in groups of two or more,
separated from other such groups by at least two 0-bits."

Can we say similary for A144795:
In binary expansion, 1-bits occur only in groups of two or more,
separated from other such groups by at least one 0-bit.

Ivica Kolar
