Least Prime Factor

Hi, my question is about the Least Prime Factor function and the
distribution of its values. Is there any manner to know in a given interval
how many are the occurrences of a given value,  for example of the prime 7.
It is possible to correlate the number of 7's in a given interval with the
values of the function greater than 7 or less. Is there a correletion to
telescoping series?
