[seqfan] Re: Early SeqFan archives

Dear Charles and members,

The current online version goes only back to the creation of the current
server
but all messages starting from 1997 have been safely archived except the
messages
on the yahoo group dating from the period between when the original server
was shutdown
without warning to the current system.

They will be added and be searchable to the current archive but they have
to be converted
from the internal digest format they were stored in. If there is sufficient
demand, I will
try to do this this summer.
