[seqfan] How long is a foot?

A3678 is the speed of light, which is exactly 299792458 meters/sec, by
definition.

The speed of light in miles per hour, miles/minute, miles/sec seem to be
missing from the OEIS.

To do the conversion, I need to know how to convert from meters to feet (to
200 decimal places, say).

Hence the question: how long is a foot in meters (exactly)?
What is the definition of a foot?
