I remember solving the N-sphere volume for about the first 8
dimensions in high school (on paper). Half of them are a lot harder (I
think it required trigonometric substitution) but it was fun. (-: I
loved the fact that you get another power of pi only on the even
dimensions. It seemed so mysterious.
