[seqfan] Trouble with OEIS Farsi page?

Dear Seq Fans, Here is a puzzle. When I go to the
main OEIS lookup page, oeis.org, and click Farsi,
(two to the right of Esperanto), what happens depends on which browser I am
using
and maybe even on which computer I am using.

>From both my iMAC and MacBook, running Chrome 24.0.1312.56,
Farsi just hangs, and after a while I get a message saying
The following pages have become unresponsive [Kill] [Wait].
All other languages work OK.

>From the same Mac computers, if I use Firefox or Safari,
the Farsi page loads right away and there is no problem.

David Applegate checked this, though not from a MAC (I think),
and he had no problems at all. Here is what he reports:

I have no problem with Farsi (using Firefox 18.0.1, chrome 24.0.1312.56m,
Internet Explorer 8, Opera 9.50, or Safari (forgot to chk version)),
all on windows.

So the question is, would you check the Farsi lookup page and tell me
what happened, and what computer and what browser you used?

Just write to me and I will post a summary here in due course.

Probably I will have collected enough data in a few hours,
so please ignore this by noon Saturday (where ever you are)

Neil

PS As long as I'm writing to the list, let me mention that there is a
VERY preliminary version of a mock-up of the OEIS museum kiosk here:

Comments and suggestions welcomed
