[seqfan] A geometric model of the atomic nucleus

In http://oeis.org/A130517 we have a mathematical idea transformed into "a geometric model of the atomic nucleus". It shows the numbers in a triangular array underneath some letters:

i-h-g-f-d-p-s-p-d-f-g-h-i

These letters are clearly taken from the notion of atomic orbitals, except my (limited) understanding of atomic orbitals is that they are defined by the distribution of electron density in space *around* the atomic nucleus. Perhaps that is what the author meant. Are there any physics tables showing that the numbers in this sequence actually correspond to some aspect of reality, quantum or otherwise?

Not satisfied with the model in the context of some real mathematics, the author restates it as http://oeis.org/A130556 [A model of the atomic nucleus (Shell model of nucleus). A triangle.] by apparently replacing each number with its unary equivalent. And for good measure, again, as http://oeis.org/A130602 [A shell geometric model of the atomic nucleus.], by doubling up on the ones.

Any insight would be appreciated.
