I really know nothing about this except while searching for something
unrelated  I got this hit:

It is a paper by VAN DER POORTEN and COX


It led me to search OEIS for their sequence, which I found (A000946).

However, I noticed at the end of the article the 7th and 8th elements are
listed as 340999 .&  3203129

The OEIS sequence contains the former but not the latter.

Perhaps the paper was in error, but I point it out...
