Well, my tree is a pseudo-fractal one, as the
"self-describing width" property is lost in the second tree.

A real fractal tree cannot self-describe its width, I think.
Perhaps, at the end of the process, is my first tree slowly
converging towards this one (which is more pyramid-like):
