Well, I got 10^4 terms in less than 0.3 seconds,
a(10^5) = 481766 in about 8 seconds
and a(10^6) = 11229137 in about 8 minutes :-)

Up to 10^4 the maximal term is a(9998) = 51528,
up to 10^5 the maximal term is a(99990) = 1124242,
up to 10^6 the maximal term is a(999964) = 12461221.
