With sequences this old, there is absolutely no question of removing either sequence.

Neither sequence is incorrect.

So, do two things:

1) extend A005047 with values derived from A065825.

2) Add a cross-reference in each sequence to the other sequence. Include the formula below.

A005047 Minimal span of set of n elements with no 3-term arithmetic progression.

A065825 Smallest k such that n numbers may be picked in {1,...,k} with no three
terms in arithmetic progression. 

A065825(n) = A005047(n) +
1
