Hello SeqFans,
each (English) integer rates the error in the quantity of letters
used so far to write the sequence:
ONE, TWO, FOUR, SIX, SEVEN, ELEVEN, THIRTEEN, NINETEEN, TWENTY-ONE,
TWENTY-EIGHT, THIRTY-TWO,...
Explanation:
The screen is empty; if I say (mistakenly) that there is ONE letter
on it, my error is precisely of 1 (diff 1-0 = 1);
ONE,
Now there are 3 letters on the screen - but I read "1"; so the error
is TWO (diff 3-1 = 2);
ONE, TWO,
Now there are 6 letters on the screen - but I read "2"; so the error
is FOUR (diff 6-2 = 4);
ONE, TWO, FOUR,
Now there are 10 letters on the screen - but I read "4"; so the error
is SIX (diff 10-4 = 6);
ONE, TWO, FOUR, SIX,... etc.
Best,
É.
