I find:
672.30675 at n=19470529 --> 2016.92025 with 2016 at n=38941059.
Plus 129 more, the last at n=126417803 after which a storage limit was hit.

Does 2016 appear at some point in T below?

T starts with a(1)=1 and a(2)=2
We now get the next two terms
by multiplying 1,2 by 3 ---> 3,6

T = 1,2,3,6,...

Accordingly, the next two terms are
obtained by the multiplication
2,3 * 3 ---> 6,9

T = 1,2,3,6,6,9,...

And again: 3,6 * 3 ---> 10,8

T = 1,2,3,6,6,9,10,8,...

Again: 6,6 * 3 ---> 19,8

T = 1,2,3,6,6,9,10,8,19,8,...

Next: 6,9 * 3 ---> 20,7

T = 1,2,3,6,6,9,10,8,19,8,20,7,...

Next: 9,10 * 3 ---> 27,3

T = 1,2,3,6,6,9,10,8,19,8,20,7,27,3,...

(the last multiplication illustrates
how to handle the zeroes after a
comma to extend T)

Another question: are there other
starts than a(1)=1 and a(2)=2 that
might push the seq into a loop?
