Let's try Hans' way:

FOUR, TWO, TEN, EIGHT, NINE, SIXTEEN, EIGHTEEN, TWENTY-FIVE,
FORTY, FORTY-EIGHT, FIFTY-FIVE, SEVENTY-NINE.

I guess this is the lexicographically first "complete" such
enumeration -- as the last letter of it is precisely the 79th.
("FOUR, TWO, TEN" is not "complete" though the last letter
is the 10th of the three words, because TWO, EIGHT and NINE
come "before" TEN).

We can add one term to the above enumeration with EIGHTYNINE
(and stop for another "complete" enumeration), ore go on
"forever":

FOUR, TWO, TEN, EIGHT, NINE, SIXTEEN, EIGHTEEN, TWENTY-FIVE,
FORTY, FORTY-EIGHT, FIFTY-FIVE, SEVENTY-NINE, EIGHTYNINE,
NINETY-THREE, NINETY-NINE, ONE HUNDRED SEVEN, ONE HUNDRED
SIXTEEN, ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-SEVEN, ONE HUNDRED FORTY-ONE,
ONE HUNDRED FORTY FIVE, ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-ONE, ONE HUNDRED
FIFTY-FIVE, ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE, ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY-TWO,
ONE HUNDRED EIGTHY-SEVEN, ONE HUNDRED NINETY-FOUR, TWO
HUNDRED THREE, ...

That is:

4, 2, 10, 8, 9, 16, 18, 25, 40, 48, 55, 79, 89, 93, 99, 107,
116, 127, 141, 145, 151, 155, 181, 182, 187, 194, 203, ...

Hope this won't be cooked too early in the seq. ;-D

Best,
É.
