[seqfan] lake/pond nomenclature translated to a cube

A261347 Maximum water retention of a number square has used the terms lake
and pond to describe the water containing areas.
Walter Trump has recently upgraded the algorithm that automatically
determines water retention for squares to the cube. The idea of tower
heights and water retention does not seem to translate to a cube. What
terms should be used for these type of spaces in a cube... ie in  A275359
?  Polyominones also relate to these lake patterns A268311.  Thanks !
